The Association for Healthcare Denial and Appeal Management (AHDAM) presents the 2024 Virtual Workshop Series. These interactive tracks are led by field experts who will dive deep into crucial topics that are vital to understanding the complex and ever-changing nature of the denial and appeal management process. This series is specifically designed for healthcare professionals who are involved in denial and appeal management and/or revenue cycle management.

Each two-day track runs from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. ET with the opportunity to earn 6.0 CE credit hours and/or CMEs through AMEDCO, NAHRI, NEMSD, AHIMA, ACDIS, and/or PACE. See each course below for specific CE/CME offerings. You will have the option of registering for one or multiple tracks on the registration form.

This workshop track teaches you to be a successful medical necessity appeal writer. You’ll leave this session with the skill to attack medical necessity denials with confidence through proven winning appeal strategies.

Solid processes are necessary to overturn what appears on the surface to be an uncomplicated coding denial. Join us as we dive into the intricacies of successfully appealing coding denials.

This workshop track teaches you to be a successful coding validation appeal writer. You’ll leave this track with the skills to address coding denials with confidence and knowledge of best coding appeal practices.

Unravel the Revenue Cycle with insights from Brian McGraw and Kendall Smith, MD. The Revenue Cycle track was designed to help healthcare professionals manage and optimize the financial processes that drive their organizations.
