At AHDAM, we are deeply disturbed by the tragic and shocking events surrounding the recent murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, as reported in the media. While the circumstances of his death remain under investigation, the sheer outpouring of rage and frustration directed at Mr. Thompson in the aftermath speaks volumes about the public’s deep dissatisfaction with the state of the health insurance industry.

However, violence and personal attacks, even in moments of deep outrage, have no place in a just and compassionate society.

AHDAM remains focused on supporting healthcare providers and patients through these challenges. Our mission is to engage with and lead efforts to address the systemic issues driving public frustration, working toward a future where all individuals receive the care they deserve. By fostering collaboration, accountability, and transparency, we aim to make tangible progress in alleviating the burdens of denied treatments and ensuring that no one is left without the medical care they need.

We extend our condolences to Mr. Thompson’s family, friends, and colleagues, and stand firmly against the vitriol and violence that have overshadowed this tragedy. At the same time, we redouble our commitment to advocating for fair, equitable solutions to the issues plaguing our healthcare system. Let this be a turning point—not for division, but for dialogue and progress.
